Finally...a post.....

As you all ready know, I haven't posted in awhile. I haven't really had much to say. It's not that I've been in a bad/sad mood...just not much going on. I'm trying to get used to my new house...we moved in about 3 weeks ago. It's nice and all, but I'm afraid I'm not all that excited about it! It took me a few weeks to figure out why...and it's because it's really not *me*. It's not the least bit feminine. Not in the least bit. Don't get me wrong...it's nice...it's just not me. I'm used to being surrounded with foofy, girlie rooms and this...well...isn't. There is tons of wood, dark colors...yes...I *did* pick it all out. I thought I would like something different. I feel bad because I should be really happy and excited and I'm really not. I don't HATE it...it's just different. Steve says that I'll like it better when we are finished decorating it. I still need pictures, mirrors, stuff to decorate it more. Maybe he's right...I don't think so though. I need pretty, feminine things around me. I think that's why I've been so quiet lately. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them with me.
Well, that's about it, I'm going to go curl up on the couch and read my new Victoria Magazine that came in the mail today!! :o)

OK, I watched Fanny and Alexander last night....it was VERY strange! I'm not sure I liked it...it was just WEIRD!

It's 4:50 am and here I sit, crying my stupid eyes out! Alex just left for the airport to go back to Texas for college and we got in a huge argument because he left his wallet at the condo 2 hours away!!!! I was annoyed, he was annoyed and Steve was annoyed...so we were all screaming at eachother like we were total freaking strangers and not people that love each other!!! Now, I feel so awful and I'm sitting here sobbing !!! i'm so upset with myself for doing this!
I'm so freaking stressed from this stupid move, Nonnie 's death and now fighting with my son who lives 2000 miles from me! Not to mention that I'm typing this to total strangers who don't even know me and could care less anyways.
I don't want to hate my life but I do right now.

Pleas pray for me because I'm losing it!

Our sweet little Nonnie died last night....she was 103 years old. I'm absolutely sure she went directly to Heaven! We love you Nonnie!

Am I being unreasonable?? The people who are buying our house are NOW saying that January 16th is too late to close! They want to get in sooner! At first they wanted in by the end of December!!

1. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE I'M MOVING TO!!!
2. Alex is bringing a friend home from college to ski.
3. Steve's family will be here Christmas week from Texas and STAYING WITH US...A FAMILY OF 4.
4. Alex doesn't even go back to Tx. until January 5th.
5. Did I mention that we don't know where we're moving??!!

Why do *I* feel guilty!?!? UGH!

I am IN LOVE with the Bed& Breakfast we looked at today!!! It has SOOOOOOOOO much character that I can hardly stand it!!! It's truly BEAUTIFUL!!!! Tomorrow we look at several more houses.

We are going to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake this weekend to check out some houses. Well, really we only have an appointment for one. For the last several years it has been a Bed & Breakfast. Steve (I think) is a little nervous because it's over 100 years old! We have never had a house older than about 15. At this point we are just looking, especially since our first offer on this house is a no go now. Oh well....we can still look, right? Have a good weekend everyone!

Today, my realtor had an open house at my house for other realtors. She said about 20 realtors came and that everyone said that the house "shows" beautiful! She said that 2 realtors asked who "staged" my house! Beth said that I did it myself and that she has used me a few times to stage houses for her, which she has. So, even though I hate selling, I have to admit, that I feel really, REALLY good that people thought it was pretty!

Nick's new Apartment!

Check out this very cool mansion made into apartments! It was built in 1883 and at one time was owned by a guy named Harry Thaw who was married to Evelyn Nesbit. Harry killed Evelyn's lover...shot him in the face.
So, anyways...here's Annandale Mansion....Nick's new home.
